CINCINNATI and CLEVELAND — Our field canvass has been organizing Ohioans to fight back against the freeze on renewable energy standards.

Since April 3 of this year 5,543 members have sent handwritten letters to Governor John Kasich and a whopping 23,216 members have signed our “End the Freeze” petition in person at their door.

Ohio is the only state to suspend state-approved requirements for utilities to invest more in renewable power. Although the Kasich administration has said it will not support efforts to make that freeze permanent, members of the Ohio General Assembly have talked about trying to do that this fall.

Thank you to our amazing field organizers who are knocking on doors throughout Ohio to end the freeze and encourage clean energy.
