Join Ohio Citizen Action and allies to demand our state take climate action seriously, starting with an end to “the freeze.”
Our legislature passed a freeze on clean energy standards in 2014, making Ohio the first state to move backwards on clean energy policy. The freeze is set to expire at the end of this year, but state legislators are considering legislation in the lame-duck session to further weaken our state’s commitment to a clean energy future.
The rally will kick off shortly after 11, with chants and speakers to follow.
Our staff members will drop off thousands of support statements and letters to Governor Kasich, urging him to take a stand on clean energy in Ohio.
Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and bring your climate action posters!
